Celeste is an eye-catching double breasted cardigan. The back and fronts are knit using the Birds Eye Pattern, an open stitch. The openness of the pattern stitch accommodates the crocheted ball buttons, eliminating the need for buttonholes.
The saddle sleeves and yoke are in the Knot Stitch Pattern. The easy to follow pattern includes:

80% Pima Cotton—20% Merino Wool
1.75 ounces - (50 grams)—222 yards - (203 cm) each pull skein

5(6, 7, 7, 8) pull skeins

For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

NEEDLES:
size 4-(3. 5 mm) needles or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
size F crochet hook



NOTIONS:

GAUGE:

28 stitches and 38 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm)
    in knot pattern on size 4 (3.5 mm) needle
