This loose fitting, dolman sleeve cardigan, worked cuff to cuff in fisherman rib stitch is an interesting project. The collar is large, the body cropped and the lower 1 x 1 ribbing is picked up and worked down.

50 grams - 108 yards each skein

11(12, 13, 14, 15) skeins

For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.



NEEDLES:
size 6 straight needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge



OTHER NOTIONS:
gauge ruler
tapestry needle
4 small buttons—1/2 inch size



GAUGE:
17 stitches and 40 rows = 4 inches in fisherman rib on size 6 needles
