TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS PATTERN

- Cast-on

- Paired doubled decreases to give a rounded shape.
- Stockinette stitch

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
- One size fits most
- Width-excluding 1 x 1 ribbing: 36 inches-(91.5 cm)
- Width-including 1 x 1 ribbing: 56 inches-(142 cm)
- Length-lower edge to top: 16.75 inches-(42.5 cm)


YARN USED FOR SAMPLE
Brown Sheep—Cotton Fleece
80% cotton, 20% merino wool
3.5 ounces-(100 grams)             215 yards-(197m) each pull skein
3 pull skeins

Approximately 645 yards-(590M) are required

For your wrap to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.


FOR A SUBSTITUTE YARN


SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZES
- Size 5-(3.75mm) needles for 1 x 1 ribbing
- Size 8-(5mm) needles or size needles to obtain the correct gauge

NOTIONS
- Gauge ruler
- Tracking sheet—included with pattern
- One package of ring markers
- Tapestry needle


GAUGE
- 18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm) on size 8 (5mm) needles in stockinette stitch
