For your cover-up to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.
FOR A SUBSTITUTE YARN
- Berroco Yarn—NaturaLin yarn has been discontinued. A soft yarn with the same gauge as NaturaLin and with some drape will make a great substitute. The wrap will beautiful in alpaca dk or a cashmere dk or a soft blend with acrylic.
SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZES
- Size 6-(4 mm) circular needle, 40 inches-(101.6 cm) long; for the ruffles or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
- Size 6-(4 mm) straight needles or circular needle 24 inch (60.9 cm)
- Six double pointed needles—size 6 or less to use in place of stitch holders
- Size 4-(3.5 mm) circular needle 16 inches-(40.5 cm) long for neckline
