children's pullover 36 - three musketeers

child_sweater_three_musketeer

Because the embellishment on this adorable unisex pullover is worked in duplicate stitch*, after the knitting is completed and before the side seams are woven together, you have a blank canvas to be creative. All the stitches increased for separate sleeves, or decreased for picked-up and knit sleeves are worked in a contrasting color. After completing the pullover, I realized, if the six stitches cast on for the underneath placket were knit in the contrasting color, it would add interest. A hat pattern is included worked either on straight needles or circular needles.

The easy to follow pattern includes:
    •    Schematic for each piece
    •    A helpful tracking sheet
    •    Diagrams and full explanations for techniques
    •    A link for substitute yarn
    •   *Links to additional duplicate stitch choices
    •    A pattern helpline
