In this case the pictured cardigan, from a home furnishing magazine, provided a must have cardigan exactly as is. It looks great on!

This set-in-sleeve cardigan is so easy to knit all in garter stitch.

There are so many color combinations to choose from. Sample is knit in three colors of Brown Sheep Yarn—Cotton Fine held together—Honey Butter CW120, Willow Leaf CW455 and Berry CW850

80% Pima Cotton - 20% Merino Wool
1.75ounces-(50 grams) — 222 yards - (203 m) each pull skein

4(4, 5, 5, 6) pull skeins color A
4(4, 5, 5, 6) pull skeins color B
4(4, 5, 5, 6) pull skeins color C

3 strands of yarn held together

For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.



FOR A SUBSTITUTE YARN CLICK HERE
NEEDLES:
size 11-(8 mm) needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
size 8-(5 mm) needles for collar only



NOTIONS:  
gauge ruler
tracking-included with pattern
5 double-pointed needles size 11-(8 mm) or smaller to use to hold
             shoulders and back neck edge instead of stitch holders
2 small stitch holders
ring markers
tapestry needle



GAUGE:
13 stitches and 25 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm) in Garter Stitch
on size 11-(8 mm) needles with 3 strands of yarn held together
