For your pullover to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

NEEDLES:

size 7 needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
size G crochet hook for optional crochet edge

OTHER NOTIONS:

4 double pointed needles size 7 or smaller - to use in place of stitch holders
tapestry needle
1 button - 1 inch

GAUGE:

20 stitches and 29 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 7 needles
