This raglan sleeve cardigan is knit in a combination of 1 x 1 ribbing and stockinette stitch. The back panel is worked from side seam to side seam with a slit in the center. The remainder of the back is worked in stockinette stitch after picking up stitches along the long edge of panel.
The fronts are ribbed the sleeves are not except for the cuffs.

For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

NEEDLES:

size 4 and size 6 needles; or needles to obtain the correct gauge

OTHER NOTIONS:

GAUGE:

21 stitches x 30 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 6 needles

SKILL LEVEL:

	Projects with a variety of stitches, such as basic cables and lace, simple intarsia, double-pointed needles and knitting in the round needle techniques, mid-level shaping and finishing.
