After knitting and wearing this set in sleeve cardigan you will want to make a second in another color in either short or long sleeves (both are included with pattern).The fronts overlap and can be pinned or belted. Knit flower is fun and easy to make.

For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

NEEDLES:

size 6 straight needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
size 4 for optional flower

OTHER NOTIONS:

gauge ruler
tapestry needle
pin back for optional flower

GAUGE:

23 stitches x 30 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 6 needles
