For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

NEEDLES:

Alpaca dk: size 4 and size 6 needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
Foxy: size 15 needles; or size to obtain the correct gauge
size F crochet hook

OTHER NOTIONS:

6(7, 7, 7, 8) buttons, 1/2 inch size

GAUGE:

Alpaca dk: 23 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 6 needles
Foxy: 6 stitches and 12 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 15 needles

	Projects using basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, simple color changes, and simple shaping and finishing.
