This is the cardigan you will find yourself always grabbing; it goes with everything and feels right for most occasions. This shawl collar cardigan is perfection. Knit all in seed stitch except for the sleeve cuffs, knit in stockinette stitch, which adds interest, with a rolled edge.

For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

size 7 straight needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge

22 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches in seed stitch on size 7 needles pressed
