SIZE:
7 inches wide x 66 inches long before fringing



YARN USED FOR SAMPLE:
Blue Heron - Bulky Rayon Chenille
100% rayon
228 grams - 250 yards each skein

For your scarf to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.



NEEDLES:
size 7 straight needles; or size to obtain the correct gauge
large crochet hook to pull fringes through



OTHER NOTIONS:
gauge ruler
tapestry needle



GAUGE:
18 stitches (row gauge is unimportant) = 4 inches in seed stitch on size 7 needle
