This sleeveless wrap/vest is knit with 2 strands of lace weight yarn held together. The back is worked from the lower edge to the top with armhole shaping. The 2 fronts are knit from the front edge to the side seam. The fronts hang loose for a relaxed look.

SIZE:
One size fits most
approximate size: back length from shoulder - 20 inches
                                fronts from shoulder to lower edge - 28 inches



YARN USED FOR SAMPLE:
Malabrigo Lace Weight
100% baby merino wool
50 grams - 470 yards each skein

5 skeins
approximately 2350 yards are needed for this vest

This wrap/vest can be made with any yarn in the weight specified as long as the correct gauge can be obtained.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.



NEEDLES:
sizes 9 and 10 needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge



OTHER NOTIONS:

GAUGE:
WITH 2 STRANDS OF YARN HELD TOGETHER
17 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 10 needles
