This eye-catching purse takes on a completely different look from the color combination you choose. The upper decorative border is worked in a slip-stitch design. Knit in 5 pieces on straight needles in stockinette stitch and assembled before felting.

SIZE:
BEFORE FELTING: approximately 17" high x 13" wide x 4" deep
AFTER FELTING: approximately 9" high x 9" wide x 2.75" deep

Rio De La Plata - Worsted Weight
100 % wool
100 grams - 140 yards

2 skeins Main Color - Honey Mustard

Lamb's Pride Worsted Weight
85% wool - 15% mohair
113 grams - 190 yards each

1 skein Contrasting Color 1 - black
1 skein Contrasting Color 2 - Crème

For your purse to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.



NEEDLES:
size 11 10 inch straight needles
size 11 or smaller double-pointed needles, two needles at least 8 inches long;
or size to obtain the correct gauge
