The photo on the left was taken through the window of a boutique in Paris, France by a friend who was interested in purchasing the purse. The shop was closed for the day. The clover purse on the right is my interpretation of the purse.

2.5 ounces-(71 grams)—120 yard-(109.7 m) each ball

4 balls (I hardly used any of the forth ball and I wasted a little)

For your purse to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZE
- size 7-(4.50 mm) straight needles or size needles to obtain the correct gauge

NOTIONS

- small pieces of felt to support sewn on snaps and handles
-.75 yard-(69 m) fabric for optional lining
- Size G-(4 mm) crochet hook

GAUGE
- 20 stitches and 27 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm) in stockinette stitch on size 7-(4.5 mm) needles
