purse 26 - iris

purse_iris

This neutral background becomes a great canvas for embellishment. Our purse has flowers cut from fabric and appliquéd using Steam a Seam 2™ with how-to instructions included with pattern. Embroidery would look beautiful too.
This bag is easy but it is rated skill level 4 (experienced) because of a few short rows. The short rows give the rounded look on the lower edge.
Three strands of yarn are held together to make this purse. We used 2 solid strands and 1 variegated strand.
