purse 24 - poppy
In one week several customers showed us a picture of this purse from various fashion magazines. The original, sold in boutiques, was made in cashmere and sold for $1050. We knit it in Plymouth's Baby Alpaca Worsted, using 2 strands held together for firmness but maintaining a soft feel. The purse has 5 different cables. The pattern is clear and easy to use with charts and a schematic. An added punch is the bright chartreuse lining. Pin a decorative brooch to the flap.
