This small project is the perfect way to practice knitting The Entrelac Technique. Besides gaining confidence in this technique you will have a beautiful evening purse. We used one color in 2 textures, a matte black and a lurex silvery black. The pattern is clear and easy to understand, included are schematics.

60% cupro - 40% metallized
50 grams - 165 yards

For your purse to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

NEEDLES:

size 5 straight needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge

WHEN KNITTING WITH GOLDFINGER HOLD 2 STRANDS OF YARN TOGETHER
WHEN KNITTING WITH MILLEFILI FINE USE ONLY 1 STRAND

22 stitches and 32 rows in stockinette stitch using Millefili Fine on size 5 needles
