1.75 ounces (50 grams)—125 yards-(114 meters) each ball

For your purse to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

NEEDLES:
size 4-(3.5 mm) straight needle, or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
size 4-(3.5 mm) or smaller double pointed needle, at least 7 inch-(17.7 cm) long          (only 1 needle required)




NOTIONS:
gauge ruler
tracking sheet – included with pattern
tapestry needle 10 inch-(25.4 cm)
circular rattan purse handle
optional: 1/2 yard of fabric for lining



GAUGE:
25 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm) on size 4-(3.5 mm) needles
