For your purse to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.
It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase. |

GAUGE: |
3.5 stitches and 4 rows = 1 inch before felting
5 stitches and 7.5 rows = 1 inch after felting (felted gauge is approximate)
When felting the gauge does not have to be exact, but:
If your gauge is too tight the hat will not felt well
If your gauge is too loose you may run out of yarn
