- Before Felting: approximately 15"-(38 cm) wide 5"-(12.7 cm) deep 2.5"-(6.3 cm) top of gusset 11"-(28 cm) high
- After Felting: approximately 11"-(28cm) wide 2.5"-(6.3 cm) deep 1.25"(3.1 cm) top of gusset 6"-(15cm) high

YARN USED FOR SAMPLE
- Cascade 220 wool
- 100% wool
- 3.5 ounces.-(100 grams)     -   220 yards - (201m) each skein

- 3 Skeins

NOTE: PURSE IS WORKED WITH 2 STRANDS OF YARN THROUGHOUT

This clutch purse can be made with any 100% wool that felts in the weight specified as long as the correct gauge can be obtained.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

FOR A SUBSTITUTE YARN

SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZES
- size 15-(10 mm) circular needle—24 inches-(61cm) long; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
- size J-(6 mm) crochet hook

GAUGE
Before Felting: Approximately 10 stitches and 14 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm)
After Felting: Approximately 14.5 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm)
