40 grams - 99 yards each skein
40% silk - 30% lamb's wool—20% cashmere—10%Nylon

2 skeins Main Color for all sizes
1 skein Contrasting Color

For your hat to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.



NEEDLES:
size 6 circular needle, 16 inches long
size 9 circular needle, 16 inches long
size 9 double pointed needles
2 small size (size 2, 3 or 4)double pointed needles for I-cord bow
or size needles to obtain the correct gauge



OTHER NOTIONS:
ring marker
five small safety pins
tapestry needle



GAUGE:
17 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 9 needles
