CUSTOM WRITTEN PATTERNS

ANY SIZE-ANY GAUGE - ANY YARN ANY DESIGN (within reason)

How it works:

Find a picture or sketch a design you would like to knit. You can also send an actual sweater you would like to replace or reproduce. Or choose a design from our Exclusive Designs on this web-site that you would like written in a different size or in a different gauge.
Knit a gauge in the yarn you will be using and in the pattern stitch you want. Send a written copy of the pattern stitch. The tension should be appropriate for the garment you are making. If you are not sure which gauge will work best, work a few gauges on different size needles and clearly tag each gauge with the size needle you used for each.

If you feel confident in taking your own gauge, do so and let us know the gauge (stitch gauge and row gauge) and the pattern stitch you will be using.
Mail your gauge, design (picture, sketch, sweater style from our web site, or actual sample), pattern stitch and completed print out of measurement chart. All material will be returned to you.

Note: the entire custom pattern transaction can be done via e-mail if:

You can e-mail a clear picture of the design you choose
You know your gauge and the pattern stitch multiple.
You fill out the Custom Pattern Order Form including the Measurement Chart below

Custom patterns will range in price from $50.00 and up. We will let you know the price upon evaluating your design.

If you choose not to do the finishing on your project, we continue to offer our professional finishing service - see the finishing window.

To order -

Fill out the Custom Pattern Order Form including the measurement chart below and either print and mail along with your gauge or click the Submit button.
We will let you know the cost via e-mail. If you approve, you will receive an invoice in your e-mail Inbox. Review it and continue to the Payment Page.
Fill out the payment page using your credit card or PayPal account (you do not need a PayPal account) and submit.

Upon receipt, your pattern(s) will be sent as an e-mail attachment.

If you would like a hard copy mailed to you, there is an additional charge of $3.50.

For most designs, allow 1 week for completion.

When taking your measurements do not add any ease to your body measurements. Under notes describe if you want a sweater that is close fitting to the body, medium ease or a loose fitting garment. Let us know how many inches down from the shoulder to start the neckline, also any other information that will be helpful. Thank you.		inches
