DESIGN DETAILS
- A cardigan for special occasions and everyday wear
- Dropped shoulder
- V neck
-The front band and V-neck have crochet edges with crochet buttonholes along the center front
- Knit roses in the main color or contrasting color(s) sewn around entire V neck

YARN USED FOR SAMPLE
Brown Sheep Company — Cotton Fine
CONTENT: 80% cotton—20% merino wool
222 yards-(203 meters)       1.75 ounces-(50 grams)
3(3—4—4—5—5) skeins

For your sweater to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZE
- size 6-(4 mm) needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
- size 4-(3.5 mm) for cabbage roses
- size E-(4 mm) crochet hook for crochet edges

- yarn markers-a thin cotton yarn (#10 crochet thread is great to use as yarn markers) in a contrasting color
- tracking sheet - included with pattern
- tapestry needle
- 5(5 - 5 - 5 - 6 - 6) buttons size .05 inch-(
12.5 mm)

GAUGE
- 23 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm) in stockinette stitch on size 6-(4 mm) needle
