The lace under sweater gives the illusion of one sweater worn over another one. The over sweater is worked in a pretty eyelet pattern. The faux lace under sweater is fun and easy to work.

For your pullover to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

NEEDLES:

Size 3 and 5 needles or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
size C crochet hook
Four double-pointed needles size 5 or smaller or stitch holders

OTHER NOTIONS:

gauge ruler
tapestry needle

GAUGE:

24stitches x 32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 5 needles

SKILL LEVEL:

	Projects with a variety of stitches, such as basic cables and lace, simple intarsia, double-pointed needles and knitting in the round needle techniques, mid-level shaping and finishing.
