For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.
It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.
NEEDLES:
size 2 and size 5 straight needles or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
size 5 or smaller double pointed needles or 4 stitch holders
size D crochet hook
OTHER NOTIONS:
gauge ruler
tapestry needle
5 or 6 buttons ½ inch to ¾ inch
GAUGE:
24 stitches x 32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 5 needles
SKILL LEVEL:
