This cuff to cuff good-looking cardigan is interesting to knit with minimal finishing. Using a self-striping yarn worked in reverse stockinette stitch adds a unique look.

For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

size 7 straight needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge

18 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in checkerboard stitch on a size 7 needle
