This is an easy to knit pullover. The pretty sweater is as sweet as cotton candy. All the edges are rolled and even the flowers are knit in stockinette stitch and then rolled. The leaves under the flowers are crochet. The front has a knit in pleat gathered beneath the flowers. Leave out the pleat and flowers and this makes an adorable pullover for a boy.

For your pullover to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

NEEDLES:

size 2 and 5 straight needles; or size to obtain the correct gauge
size 3 circular needles; 16 inches long
five double pointed needles size 5 or smaller to use in place of stitch holders
size C crochet hook

OTHER NOTIONS:

Gauge ruler
Tapestry needle

GAUGE:

24 stitches x 32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 5 needles
