Imagine this update of an old favorite. This granny square afghan is made up of 6 different colorways in various combinations. Two different colorways of yarn are held together for each round. The combinations keep changing to make this afghan very unique. Make afghan as small or large as you desire.

FINISHED SIZE:

approximately 52 inches-(132 cm) wide x 52 inches-(132 cm) long

4 balls each of 6 color ways = 24 balls of Paint Box
100% wool
1.75 ounces-(50 grams)—100 yards-(91.5 meters) each ball

Yarn
Paint Box is a worsted weight yarn. Any weight, using appropriate crochet hook, would work because you can stop crocheting when you obtain the size afghan you desire. To Achieve the variegated look the yarn you choose must have short runs of each color.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase. Approximately 2400 yards-(2194.5 meters)- are needed for this afghan—400 yards-(366 meters) of 6 different color ways. Allow for more yarn if a larger afghan is desired or using a thinner weight yarn.

NEEDLES:

size M-(9 mm) crochet hook or hook appropriate for your yarn

NOTIONS:

tapestry needle

GAUGE:

3 double crochet = 4 inches-(10 cm) on size M-(9 mm) crochet hook or needle to obtain the correct gauge

SKILL LEVEL:

	Projects using basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, simple color changes, and simple shaping and finishing.
